All Around Pleasant

Although we are surrounded by too many wineries to mention, a few stand out for the overall experience they provide. We enjoy Narrow Path Winery and Vineyard because of its quiet location, which is substantially away from busy US Highway 290. Being here feels more like being in a romantic hill country locale, and less like sitting next to a busy highway. The tasting room's contemporary architecture appeals to our sensibilities too. It does not pretend to be something it is not; rather, it sits proudly on the sloping terrain ready to host wine sipping guests. The tasting room also sells "small bites" for nibbling.

Located about 15 minutes by car from Ridgeview Guest House. Note, this winery also has a tasting room in Fredericksburg, so be careful not to confound the two when you plug directions into your mapping software. The winery and vineyard discussed here is located 4.5 miles south of Hye, Texas at the intersection of Hye-Albert Road and RR 1623.
